It’s Officially Summer!!!

It’s Hot but it’s even Hotter in the Philippines...

The small country like the Philippines is pegged as the summer capital of the world? Yes, you read it right! I declare myself that Philippines is the summer capital of the world. Why did I say so? Because it’s sunny everyday!

Funny but true. It seems that the world has come upside down. Oh well, the authorities in the Philippines have announced that it will be a wet summer. Meaning, it will be a rainy summer. How come, when you first think of summer, it means sunny and hot, right?

Anyhow, school days are off and let’s turn our back to the many beautiful islands, beaches and cool places in the Philippines, where it’s sunny everyday!

It's vacation time, what are your plans for summer?!

CDO adventure...

It was tiring though it was fun.

Amnesty International (AI) Philippines' Media Work and Spokespersonship Training for Visayas and Mindanao held at Cagayan de Oro (CDO) on May 13-14, 2010 had me experienced many things that I never thought I'd be experiencing then. Well, it took us, AI-Dumaguete Group travel from one place to another.

It was something like a little adventure. We went to Cebu City last May 12 for CDO. We had to be early then to catch up with our flight at 5:30 a.m. the next day. I never used to sleep less than seven hours, that's why I had to steal little hours for a nap when we arrived the following day since the training will start 1:00p.m.

The training proper was like a river flushing hurriedly until you could not imagine it was done. It was a two-day-training with four-day travel adventure. I met new friends and mingle with them though there are a few that never did do the same. Anyway, I had not spent a long span of time to make a leisure since our time is limited. However, the goal was never like such.

The said training was interesting and I could not see myself doing stuff like what was done during the training. You might wonder why. Well, long story that need not to be shared. At the end, everything has a purpose. I just hope that lectures during the training will be applied during the event of which we were tasked to do.
